Personal Development & Professional Teacher Training

Biodanza Bristol School began in 2008. If you would like to put more love in this world of ours and to convey this message then we welcome you to begin this adventure of being a Facilitator of Biodanza. Our school is dedicated to train Biodanza teachers according to the theoretical model created by Rolando Toro Araneda. We are a Biocentric School and together we create the most beautiful circumstances conducive to learning and growing . Our school is also committed to social action in the communities and promotes Biodanza in schools, universities and institutions as a human development system and also promotes social/clinical work using Biodanza. We are committed to develop global human potential teaching Biodanza in joy and to learn by experience and to discover the world and transform it – to confront the needs and challenges of the complex times in which we live . To accelerate and stimulate talent, and innovate and motivate students to be lovers of life, unique and creative, passionate and intelligently affective.

Teacher Training

The training course in Biodanza has a minimum duration of three years, consisting of 28 modules. Each module is theoretical and experiential and with a training manual by Rolando Toro Araneda .

During the training modules great importance is given to the relationship between the experiences and theoretical issues discussed.

The unique Biodanza Training Programme contains seven modules of methodology. The goal of methodology modules is that the student in training is equipped to be a facilitator

Practical experience presenting weekly groups of Biodanza under the supervison of a Didactic teacher of Biodanza, with a minimum of 8 supervision classes

Students can optionally perform, under supervision, social action in the community using Biodanza ie various groups and institutions, elderly groups, children etc

The student will prepare a monography/thesis on a theoretical or practical aspect of Biodanza. The monograph will be carried out with guidance of a Didactic Teacher.

It is the submission of the thesis/monography before a panel of Didactic Teachers and will be organised by the School of Biodanza in which the student belongs.

For the teaching Diploma degree all stages of the training programme will have been completed by the student and the student will enrol with the International Biocentric Federation that will provide Professional Registration.

Social and Clinical Biodanza

On completion of the school training as well as facilitating a weekly group there is also the opportunity for students to specialize in areas of social/clinical Biodanza eg. children,families,mental health, ,disabilities, elderly, visually impaired, hearing impaired, eating disorders, companies, ecology, adolescents etc.

Biodanza Social Forum

Our school will organize periodically a Biodanza Social Forum for information exchange.

Biodanza Tribal Camp

Our school will organize each year a Tribal Gathering to live the Biocentric experience together for 5 days.
